Susan and Don are back together! Susan Foord Catering and Cafe has teamed up with the Acalanes Parents Club once again on every Wednesday! Dine in or take it home - starting this Wed, Nov. 4, grab a bite to eat for lunch or pick up dinner for your family - tell them that you are a proud member of the APC and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated back to the Acalanes Parents Club. What a great way to take a midweek break from the kitchen!
Not familiar with Susan Foord? The Cafe is located in Lafayette at 965 Mt. View Dr (just behind Quiznos and across from Trader Joe's). The "Kitchen Sink" salad is a must and maybe the Niman Ranch cheese burger, a BLTA, some Southern Fried Chicken and a side of soup and some homemade chips? Gear up for Wednesdays at Susan Foord! Acalanes has some exciting news!
We've just joined the eScrip Recycling Program. This program is FREE and provides a convenient location for collecting laser, inkjet cartridges, used cell phones, iPods and other Mp3 players and laptops while raising funds for our school.
How the program works: The collection bin clearly marked and accessible during normal school hours, will be placed just inside the main office. You can drop off your recyclable cell phones, ink cartridges, iPods or other Mp3 players and laptops whenever it's convenient for you. Periodically, our school will mail the items collected at our school to the eScrip Recycling offices. eScrip Recycling will then deposit funds electronically in our groups account!!!
Did you know that every second of every day nine ink cartridges are thrown away? Help us turn this waste into CASH! Please donate your cell phones, cartridges, iPods and laptops by placing them in the collection bin found inside the main office. What a perfect time to clean off your work area or junk drawer.
This program will not be successful without the support of the community and people like you. Thank you for your help in recycling.

Mountain Mike's Pizza has been added to eScrip. Next time you are eating pizza at Mountain Mikes, be sure to swipe that credit card that you have renewed on Escrip.com! Spring has Sprung in Lafayette
Celebrate the end of winter by trying out a new restaurant in Lafayette.
